Kynwyn Sterling is an Aquarian endorsed drummer living in Portland, OR. She graduated from California Institute of the Arts in 2018 with a BFA in Jazz Performance. She has performed with NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest winner Naia Izumi, progressive synth-pop band Crying, math rock duo Standards, and many others, including her own band Heirloom.
Kynwyn is also a co-founder and administrator of Odd Times and Atmospheres, an online community and resource for progressive and experimental musicians.
Services I Provide
Drum Tracks
I would love to help write/perform drum tracks for your next musical project. All tracks will be recorded in my own personal home studio and can be either sent as raw unmixed audio, or cleaned up by my personal audio engineer.
Gigging around Portland area
I can perform drums/percussion in your musical group for performances around the Portland, OR area. I can bring my own equipment, as well as make use of whatever is on hand.
I will require some time before the gigs to prepare/learn your music. Ideally we should get together to rehearse, but is not completely necessary if you can provide reference tracks.
Touring Drummer
I am available to tour with your group on your next US or International tour. I can bring my own equipment, and help with driving and/or merch.
